Who I am…

I’m James, a photographer and videographer based in Thanet, UK, driven by a passion for storytelling through striking visuals. Born and raised in Margate, I’ve spent decades immersed in punk, alternative, and DIY music, playing gigs, writing songs, and recording since 1995.

My creativity draws from a diverse mix of influences, including Muay Thai Kickboxing, film, psychology, and a lifelong passion for drums and guitar. All of it stems from my roots steeped in DIY Punk Ethos.

These experiences shape the way I see the world and fuel my approach behind the camera—whether I’m capturing the raw energy of a live performance or crafting a narrative with a cinematic edge.
